One of Reno's most sought-after neighborhoods
Situated among Reno’s suburban hinterlands, Zolezzi Lane is a green neighborhood in the middle of the Nevada desert. Zolezzi Lane derives its name from a major road that both bisects the community and provides it access to the rest of the city via Interstate 580. "It's one of the most sought-after parts of southwest Reno,” says Frank Picone, a Realtor with RE/MAX Gold who works in the area. “It is in proximity to Lake Tahoe, and it's close to golfing, hospitals and shopping; it's just a great location.” Whether homebuyers are looking for access to the great outdoors, proximity to major highways or the convenience of living near major shopping centers, Zolezzi Lane connects them to each of these features.
Homes to fit any style in south Reno
Zolezzi Lane’s winding residential streets are lined with homes of all styles. “It just depends on what people want. They have tract homes and cabin-style houses, and they have some custom modern styles in some of the gated communities," says Picone. The area is a mix of subdivisions and semi-rural areas, making it easy for homebuyers to find a home with half an acre of land. Most of the homes south of Zolezzi Lane are Spanish-style ranch-style homes with large yards, built-in garages and plenty of mature trees. North of Zolezzi Lane is where the neighborhood becomes more rural, featuring homes with more room between them, some of which are working farms. Most homes cost at least $1 million, with some five-bedroom houses costing $3 million to $5 million.
The heart of Zolezzi Lane is filled with large estates, many of which have been built post 2010.
Zolezzi Lane has a modern Western vibe, homes styled with agricultural touches.

Explore the desert at Washoe County parks
Zolezzi Lane is surrounded by nature, both in the form of neighborhood parks and the great wilderness of the Carson Range. South Valleys Regional Park, sitting beside Interstate 580, invites sporty visitors to play baseball and soccer, while kids can explore the parks’ multiple playgrounds. This park is also home to the South Valleys Library and the Jennifer M. O’Neal Community Ice Arena, which offers public skating, hockey leagues and a figure skating club. Arrowcreek Park at the neighborhood's southwest corner offers more playgrounds, a picnic area and a trailhead. More adventurous hikers can walk along the Lower Thomas Creek Trail, which will take them 2.5 miles through desert terrain to the Upper Thomas Creek Trail. There, the path begins to traverse through thick pine forest and towards the Mount Rose wilderness, a popular venue for pedestrians and dirt bikers alike. Golfers can test their drive at Wolf Run Golf Club, a public course that serves as the home of the University of Nevada golf team. This par-72 course also includes a practice putting green, driving range and short game area where players can practice sand shots.
Zolezzi Lane is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts with unlimited access to mountain sports.
