Rhodesdale offers rural living on the Eastern Shore
Rhodesdale's residents live in rustic rural homes beside acres of rolling farmland, just beyond the Delaware border to the east. "You've got a mixed clientele. We have a lot of first-time homebuyers who grew up in the North Dorchester area," says Mary Mabry, an Eastern Shore native and 23-year real estate agent with Keller Williams Select Realtors of Annapolis. "Rhodesdale doesn't feel commercialized; that laidback country feel is very attractive." Locals often drive to towns like Seaford , in Delaware, or Cambridge and Federalsburg for a bite to eat or a shopping trip. It's also popular to visit nearby riverside parks along the Nanticoke River or the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge.
