With thriving businesses in the Mountain View Shopping Village and across the city, Riverton enjoys the same economic growth as other areas in the southwest corner of Salt Lake Valley while maintaining a close-knit community with large single-family homes and community events like the annual week-long River Town Days celebration. “To our west is more high-density housing, and to our south is more rural areas with bigger, more expensive lots,” says Joshua Lee, Director of Communications & Public Affairs for the city. “Riverton has a touch of everything. Different types of homes, places to shop, and you still have that small town feel that we pride ourselves on.”
