Weather is a big draw for those choosing Riviera Beach as their home. Salty ocean air, 75-degree weather year-round and palm trees are prevalent in the community. Locals like real estate broker Raymond Petric with eXp Realty point out that investors have been pouring into the area, seeing it as an untapped market. “There is no more land there to build on except for infill and I bet in the next coming years you can see a lot of tear downs and even more high-rise condominium properties being built.” The ocean is in walking distance to the east, while to the west is Dyer Park and easy access to Interstate 95 – so there are a lot of desirable amenities packed into this neighborhood.

Pastel homes and high-rises
Rows of ranch-style homes are common in the area, with painted pastel exteriors in yellow, orange, teal or beige. Closer to the beach are luxurious villas and high-rise properties overlooking the Intracoastal Waterways. Newer developments are part of gated communities and feature townhouses that have terracotta roofs. Condos can start in the low $200,000s and so can some single-owner homes, like beach cottages. More traditional dwellings, like a ranch home with driveway and fenced yard, will start around $450,000. The interesting feature about this market is that those ranches may be midcentury vintage or built in the 2020s – leaving it up to the homebuyer how much they want a move-in ready home or a home they can customize.
