Riverfront living in southern Oregon
Echo Bend Ranch is a riverfront community next to the North Umpqua River. It’s known for its gorgeous, mountainous scenery and quiet personality 17 miles north of downtown Roseburg. “It’s a very small, tight-knit community that’s nestled on the river,” says Brent Maxson, a Realtor with eXp Realty, LLC who has lived in Oregon for more than two decades. Half of the estates are on the waterfront and homes can have up to 10 acres of land, according to Ryan Fox, a Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Real Estate Professionals who has more than two decades of experience in Roseburg. People head to the city for work, shopping and dining. “Whitetail deer and wild turkeys – that’s what people see on their way to work,” Fox says. “You have to be conscientious of the wildlife on the road.”
