Fiddyment Farm began selling homes in 2020, and multiple builders continue to develop the area. The architectural designs of the homes depend upon the phase in which they are located. Some of these spacious houses are ranch-style, while others are more contemporary builds. Prices range from $480,000 to $1.2 million dollars. High school offers world languages
Students in the development often walk or bike to their highly-rated schools. Fiddyment Farm Elementary School has an overall Niche score of A. Barbara Chilton Middle School, home of the Bobcats, has an A grade, and Roseville High School offers world languages and has an A-minus from Niche.

Neighborhood has several parks
Several parks surround the community, most within a mile from home. Rotari likes to take her kids to Stizzo Park, which features a school-age play area, a half basketball court, fitness equipment and a picnic area. There is also a green belt that will never be built upon, as well as trails for hiking and walking. Fiddeyment Park, named after one of the founding pioneers, Jane Elizabeth Fiddyment, features several types of swings, a zip line and a covered picnic area.

Additional recreation is planned for the city
The City of Roseville is currently developing master-planned parks, recreation and libraries with a 10-year planning horizon. In the meantime, locals can go to the Martha Riley Community Library, one of the three Roseville Public Library locations. Only four miles by car, the two-story building features three reading rooms and is shared with Roseville Utility Exploration Center. Project Play, an accessible playground, is adjacent to the building.

Plaza at Blue Oaks is nearby
For shopping, dining and other amenities, the locals head to the Plaza at Blue Oaks, a one-mile drive from the neighborhood. Anchored by Raley’s O-N-E Market, this expansive retail complex is home to stores, restaurants and services and continues to expand. For dining with an international flare, there’s La Provence Restaurant and Terrace, serving authentic French country cuisine.

Public transportation not readily available
Fiddyment Farm is close to I-80 and I-65. Commuters who work in Sacramento can expect a 30–40-minute drive. It’s a 27-mile drive to get to Sacramento International Airport. There is no nearby access to public transportation, so residents who want to leave town are car-dependent.
