Growing Roseville suburb not far from the city center
Set just a few miles from downtown Roseville, the master-planned suburb of Junction West has seen a boom in housing construction, as families are drawn to the area’s highly rated school system. Brandon Roth, an owner of the neighborhood’s Golden State TCG (Trading Card Game) shop, describes the community as very tight-knit. “When strangers come into the shop, they leave as part of the family. We actually get to know them and say hi when we see them out and about. That doesn’t happen in other places like Sacramento.” Nearby parks offer recreational opportunities, and shopping centers house locally owned restaurants; name-brand retailers are found near the city center.

Most of the people I know in this community have lived here all their life and a lot don't plan on leaving. It's one of the greatest places to live and raise a family. It's also very pet friendly. Don't be surprised at the amount of dog parks you see in the area. There is always something going on in the community. An example of this is downtown Tuesdays. This is a community event that involves bands performing and amazing food to eat while walking around shopping.

I've lives in this area my whole life and wouldn't trade it to live somewhere else ever. The crime rate is low and it's an overall safe area to live in. The community is growing both economically and as a population. More and more homes are being built along with schools and this shadows a great future for the community to come.

The weather here is amazing. The spring is very beautiful and colorful along with the fall. Mid spring and summer are the warmest parts of the year. The temperature can reach the low hundreds at times. The fall and winter are my favorite because it doesn't get too cold and it doesn't rain too often. If you want to go to the snow, it's about a 2 hour drive north.

Everyone in this area is extremely friendly. Overall the attractiveness of the area itself seems to rub off on the people living here. don't be afraid to confront someone and make new friends.
