Stanford

New Mediterranean homes
With the western part of the neighborhood being dominated by retail, homes are located to the west. Streets unfold into cul-de-sacs with wide sidewalks, which are great for walking the dog. Houses range from modern Craftsman builds to Mediterranean-inspired homes built in the early 2000s. Single-family homes cost between $700,000 and $850,000. Homes are on compact lots, but there is still room for private pools in the backyard. Attached multi-car garages and long driveways make parking easy. While most of the housing is single-family homes, there are a few townhomes available for between $400,000 and $450,000.Retail along Fairway Drive
There are plenty of retail and dining options located off Fairway Drive. The Stanford Crossing shopping center is home to Costco, Total Wine and a Home Depot. Locals can also pick up their groceries for the week at the WinCo Foods. Just a few blocks to the north is a Target, Ashley furniture shop and Kohl’s. Posh Bagel is a local breakfast spot offering croissants, muffins and more. For a full breakfast, Four Sisters Café has pancakes, omelets and other classics. Tomatina is an Italian spot with outdoor seating and sushi lovers can visit Sushi Kuma for a roll. “This is the ideal Roseville neighborhood for convenient shopping and dining,” says Hayden Hill of Compass Realty, who has sold dozens of homes in the neighborhood. “The access to shopping centers and restaurants makes this a popular spot for families.”Fun at Central Park
The large Central Park serves as a spot for community events and has plenty of attractions, like a playground and walking trail. The park also features baseball diamonds, basketball courts, soccer fields and tennis courts for local athletes. Next to the park is the Mike Shellito Indoor Pool, which features eight lap lanes and an additional 1,500-square-foot warm-water pool. Adults can have fun at Get Axed, a local bar that has axe throwing, pool tables and arcade games. Golfers of all abilities can have fun at the Top Golf just west of Roseville Bypass, and the Planet Fitness off Blue Oaks Boulevard provides a place for residents to pump iron.Thomas Jefferson Elementary earns an A
