Owasso Hills Park captures views of Lake Owasso, 8 acres of green space and occasional wildlife sightings, including deer, eagles and geese. The park’s quarter-mile paved walking trail passes benches, a picnic shelter, a half-court basketball surface and a playground. Kids head to the recently updated playground at Mapleview Park and the open lawn for walking dogs or throwing footballs. Covered picnic tables and a grill are good places to watch baseball games on the adjacent field. In winter, neighbors can walk to the park to enjoy skating and sledding. Ladyslipper Park provides peaceful outdoor exploration and natural beauty. As a nature preserve, the 16-acre park features views of Lake Owasso, a variety of birds and acres of wildflowers, including ladyslipper orchids, for which the park is known. For indoor recreation, AMF Saxon Lanes bowling center is on Little Canada Road West.
