The Cedar Lake Trail runs through Texa-Tonka Park, offering immediate access to the paved trails that connect downtown with the western suburbs of Minneapolis. Minneapolis Golf Club neighbors the community, offering a private driving range and an 18-hole course that was fully renovated in 2020.
