Over 100 species at Monterey Zoo

Residents are just minutes from Monterey Zoo, home to over 100 exotic animals. The zoo’s handlers and trainers cultivate close bonds with the animals, which visitors can see on full display during the park’s educational programming. Locals can even enjoy full-contact experiences with the animals by appointment, and the zoo boasts a safari bed and breakfast on the property.
