Bradbury is a small, residential area southwest of Converse City. It’s bordered by railroad tracks on the west side and Walzem Road, a major throughway, to the south. From Bradbury, it’s a short drive to shopping and dining options on Walzem Road and Old Seguin Road, and you have easy access to Interstates 35 and 410, and Randolph Air Force Base. Downtown San Antonio is a roughly 25-minute drive.

For outdoor fun, Kardon Park is a short drive south on Gibbs Sprawl Road. This large park runs parallel with the railroad tracks that border the west side of Bradbury. It has a covered, cushioned playground, ball fields and a walking trail where you can get your steps in and soak up some sun. At Converse North Park, there are two large playgrounds with interesting climbing equipment, and even a zipline.
