The neighborhood is popular with young professionals for its public transit, freeway access and walkability. YouTube’s headquarters is nearby, and the company is one of the area’s largest employers.

Early 20th century houses surrounding downtown San Bruno
Founded in 1914, San Bruno Park has different styles of homes from various decades, mainly from the 1920s through the early 1950s. It’s the oldest part of the city and, despite containing downtown, is still more affordable than many other neighborhoods here, thanks to nearby San Francisco International Airport. "Airport traffic impacts the area, which has kept the prices down, making San Bruno Park appealing to the first-time homebuyer market," says Watson. The most common architectural styles are cottages and bungalows. Many houses have remodeled interiors or are turn-key properties. Homes sell for a median price of $1.1 million after around 42 days. Prices range from $975,000 to $1.1 million for single-family homes.

San Bruno is a quiet suburb of San Francisco with many enjoyable places and events. There are many shops and music stores readily available. There are also many places to dine and eat out. The streets are never too crowded and there are generally no homeless people. There is also not so much crime making it a relatively safe area.

Lived in San Bruno my whole life. Very diverse and so much activities to that run by the communities. Everything is accessible the airport, mall and many great schools and parks. San Francisco is only thirty minutes away, Millbrae and Burlingame are very close by with great schools and with downtown. Downside is houses are very expensive but living is incredible.

Nothing to complain about. Everything that I need is within in 10-15 minute drive from where I live. Grocery stores are plentiful and well stocked, the drug stores are open 24/7, and the restaurants offer a variety of delicious food. Many businesses are also family owned and committed to the quality of their products. Additionally, other services like gyms and malls are ideally located and are kept up to date and modern.

I would appreciate more libraries in San Bruno. The only library is located by the IHOP. I personally believe that we can aid in students development by providing one more library for them in this city. Children must be provided a place where they can learn while feeling safe and have a lot of answers at their fingertips.
