Winding uphill roads are one of the primary features of Beverly Terrace. As people drive into the San Carlos hills, single-family homes, condos and townhouses appear on the horizon. Most were built in the 1950s and ‘60s, but there are also historic homes and contemporary mini-mansions. The neighborhood’s architectural designs range from ranch-style residences to split-levels to modern farmhouses. Many sit on large lots and, thanks to the hill’s elevation, have panoramic views of the Bay Area. Homes sell for a median price of $2.15 million after around 23 days.
