Proximity to San Onofre Beach itself is also a major draw — the beach is one of the premier surf breaks in all of California. Many locals have memberships at the Bella Collina San Clemente, a 27-hole private golf course on the north side of the neighborhood. There are also many beautifully maintained city parks in the neighborhood, including the lovely Rancho San Clemente, which is home to basketball courts and a modern playground.
