Urban suburban community overlooking National City
Past the busy streets of Downtown San Diego, Ridgeview-Webster is uniquely positioned on the rocky ridges overlooking National City. The Mid-City Diego neighborhood offers an urban-suburban feel with single-family homes and walkable grocery stores. While homes are well-established, longtime local real estate agent with Big Block Realty, Aimee Gilliatt, says the neighborhood “is still developing its identity, so it’s really considered an up-and-coming community.”

Throughout the neighborhood, most ranch-style homes and craftsman bungalows date back to the 1950s and 60s. Low-hipped roofs with defined horizontal lines highlight the area’s hilly terrain and panoramic city views. From the ballparks, residents can take an easy hike or bike ride along a gravel trail snaking through the rocky terrain. Ridgeview-Webster welcomed a new urban community park in 2015. The addition of Charles Lewis III Memorial Park transformed an overgrown 5.8-acre lot on Home Avenue into a thoughtfully designed community gathering place, where neighbors get together for cookouts and children play until the sun goes down.
