Alessandro is rural and growing with suburban homes
Alessandro is a Riverside County community that maintains a country feeling even as it grows. "It has a desert vibe," says Rochelle Martinez, a Realtor of five years with Best Realty Partners. "It's still off the beaten path, so there's larger lots." More and more, homebuyers from larger cities like Los Angeles are now shopping places like this, not only for the land but also for the price points attached to newer homes. While still rural, Alessandro is seeing a wave of suburban development, offering new homes in the $400,000s — strikingly affordable for SoCal. Surrounded by the San Jacinto Mountains, the valley is filled with diverse recreation, and major highways connect locals to the wider region.
Newer construction and country homes on acres of land
Alessandro's homes are tucked into the valley, with mountain views. The neighborhood's original vintage properties are ranch styles and farmhouses from the 1950s to '80s, settling on generous lots, sometimes 5 acres or more. Modern Mediterranean styles and southwestern neo-traditionals have entered the scene in recent years, and more are coming. These new homes offer modest lots and a more traditional suburban streetscape that's winding and landscaped. Single-family homes typically range from the $400,000s to the high $600,000s, depending on their size, age, condition and how much land surrounds them. Homes on vast acreage can easily surpass $800,000, however, and fixer-uppers can be found in the $300,000s.
