Local hikers can start a little journey at the Boyd Park Overlook and hike the Robert Dollar Trail, which winds its way through Boyd Memorial Park. “It’s not huge, only a couple of acres, and there's a nice hiking trail,” says Nead. Motivated residents can hop on the trail and make their way up the hill and through the trails to the trail’s terminus before heading back down to the overlook to enjoy the view one more time. Boyd Memorial has a playground with a jungle gym for the kids. For a more in-depth outdoor experience, residents will drive 10 miles to the trail system that makes its way up Mount Tamalpais.
