The main shopping area, City Center Bishop Ranch, is set up like a modern public square with a variety of chic stores and diverse restaurants. Shops include big names such as Anthropologie, Pottery Barn and Sephora, along side local boutiques. It’s also the site of the San Ramon Farmers Market, held every Saturday from 9am to 1pm. Two interstate highways, public transportation and more
Bollinger Canyon Road cuts directly through the neighborhood and is lined with many of the busy shopping hubs, including City Center Bishop Ranch. The road intersects with Interstate 680, which allows drivers to reach Dublin, 7 miles away and Fremont, 23 miles away. Oakland and San Francisco also require a hop on I-680. Just a little further south is the Interstate 580 interchange, which can be used to navigate between the San Francisco Bay Area and the San Joaquin Valley. Public transit is available through buses provided by the AC Transit Authority, and the San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport is 23 miles away. The nearest medical facility is San Ramon Medical Center, less than 2 miles away.

Bishop Ranch's annual festivals and cultural celebrations
San Ramon likes to put on unique festivities throughout the year and several of them are held right here in Bishop Ranch. In May, the Art and Wind Festival is held at Central Park and includes specialty food vendors, live entertainment and professionally choreographed kite flying demonstrations. Ranging from late October to early November, City Center Bishop Ranch hosts San Ramon's Diwali Indian Festival of Lights. The autumnal celebration spotlights local Indian culture through music, dancing, henna tattoos and more.

Baseball, dog parks and championship golf
Bishop Ranch may draw strength from its restaurants and retail, but there are still plenty of places to get some fresh air and exercise.
