Cul-de-sacs are lined with flowers and manicured shrubs. “Arguello has smaller lots of 6,000 to 8,000 square feet,” Pulpan says. “Its development was about a decade later than Blue Hills’. It was built by the same builder.” Single-story homes are common, and styles vary from contemporary to Mediterranean-influenced properties. Prices range from $3.5 million to $7.5 million; higher-priced properties are generally closer to the Santa Cruz Mountains with more square footage. Typical features include solar panels and multicar garages.

Saratoga’s top-rated public schools
The neighborhood is zoned for three different, highly-rated school districts. A few local bus stops are on Saratoga Sunnyvale Road, but Arguello is mostly car-dependent. State Route 85 leads northwest to the tech hubs in Cupertino, Sunnyvale and Mountain View. El Camino Health – Los Gatos Hospital is about 6 miles away, and San Jose Mineta International Airport is about 15 miles away.
