For a bite to eat, head to The Old Well Tavern. This popular restaurant is housed in a 1730s-era building with a wrap-around porch and has operated as an inn, a stagecoach shop, a brothel, and even a final resting place. A relative of the 1880s owner, known only as Seth, didn't leave behind enough cash for a proper burial and was laid to rest beneath the building's basement. Today, the tavern draws throngs of locals thanks to its live music and popular menu of beer and bar food. The Old Well mixes a rich history with mozzarella sticks, tavern nachos, and the bangin' BLT to create a lively atmosphere that can raise the spirits of anyone inside, dead or alive.

For a breath of fresh air, head to Saint John's Place Open Space, located along the Farmington River. This quiet forest is the perfect place to head out on a bright afternoon for some seclusion. The Farmington River is a treat to have close by and is popular for fishermen, canoers and rock-skippers alike.

Whether you want to be close to Farmington River, are looking for a bit more land to live on and room to grow, or want access to the beautiful vista's around Terry's Plain, this neighborhood provides plenty to get excited about.
