Master-planned community with essential services and natural beauty
Snoqualmie Ridge is a master-planned community on the west side of Snoqualmie. The community of 4,000 homes operates like a town with essential amenities like restaurants, medical offices and emergency services. “It’s a bedroom community that is self-contained and easy for people to assimilate,” says Stacey Chellis, real estate broker at Coldwell Banker Realty and Snoqualmie Ridge resident. The community is also within walking distance of parks, trails and golf courses. Chellis says she was drawn to the area because it’s a safe neighborhood with picturesque mountain views. “It was like going back in time,” Chellis says. “My kids could ride their bikes and play in the woods. I could walk my dog day and night and enjoy the natural beauty.” The neighborhood has CAP Index crime score of 1 out of 10.
Residents get tickets to Boeing Classic golf tournament
Recreation surrounds Snoqualmie Ridge, including mountains and walking pathways. The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge is a neighborhood focal point and social hub. “It’s a private club, and lots of people in the neighborhood are members,” Chellis says. Club members get access to the Jack-Nickolas 18-hole course, heated swimming pool, fitness center and clubhouse. This course hosts the Boeing Classic, a weeklong PGA Tour event that gathers the world’s best golfers. “All the residents get tickets to that; it’s a well-managed event that has a low impact on residents during that week,” Chellis says.
Most homes are within walking distance of a grassy area or pocket park, some with playgrounds or paved walking paths. Snoqualmie Community Park is the largest green space in the neighborhood; it has athletic courts and fields and is home to the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA. The Jeanne Hansen Community Park has athletic turf fields and a playground on the south side of the neighborhood. Anglers can cast their lines at Lake Alice next door, and the area has more than 20 miles of paved and dirt pathways, including the Snoqualmie Ridge Trail and the Deep Creek Trail.

Most subdivisions have contemporary, craftsman or traditional single-family homes with small lots. Properties near the neighborhood shopping area are priced between $800,000 and $1 million, and larger homes spanning more than 2,000 square feet range from $1 million to $5 million.

Multiple transportation options to Seattle and suburbs
Interstate 90, which runs west to Seattle, runs along the south side of Snoqualmie Ridge. “It’s probably got the best access to I-90 of any Seattle suburb, and then it’s only a 30-minute commute,” Chellis says. The east-west route reaches Bellevue and Seattle in 20 and 27 miles respectively, and Snoqualmie Parkway is a direct route to Auburn 25 miles southwest. King County public transportation has a Monday-Saturday bus route that runs through Snoqualmie and stops between North Bend and Issaquah. Residents are 30 miles from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, or “SeaTac,” for air travel.
