Streets lined with split levels, Cape Cods and colonials
Windsor Hills features three main subdivisions, the largest of the three at the center and the other two branching off to the east and to the west. Homes lie along a grid-style layout, with some cul-de-sacs branching off major residential roads. Properties in this area typically have shallow front yards, simple landscaping and paved driveways, but yards grow in size as one moves toward the outskirts of the centralized subdivisions and beyond. Windsor Hills features ranch homes with vinyl siding, along with some split levels, Cape Cods and colonials. “You definitely get the option for older style homes,” Hall says. “My house was built in 1969, and you’ll find a lot of tri-levels, quad-levels and Dutch colonial-style homes.” On average, houses with over 1,500 square feet sell for between $215,000 to $400,000 while manufactured homes with fewer than 1000 square feet tend to garner a lower price, selling for between $75,000 to $150,000. According to Hall, inventory is low, and demand is high. “We recently had a home go on the market that had over 30 showings and several offers in two days,” she says.
