Rural OKC neighborhood just 10 miles from the city
When traveling westward through Oklahoma City (OKC) on 36th Street, the tightly laid grids of the city give way to the broad valleys of the wider Frontier Country region. Sitting just 10 miles out from the main city, Spencer is a rural neighborhood that’s holding strong to its identity while offering easy access to the greater OKC area.
“A lot of people grew up here and decided to stay,” says Jacque Rollins, a Realtor and branch broker with the TB Rollins Team of TreeHouse Realty. In addition to being a longtime resident of Spencer, Rollins serves as a member of the planning commission for the city. “There’s a level of comfort in knowing your neighbors here.”
