A peaceful, convenient suburban community of St. George
Hidden Valley may seem easy to miss — it's a little St. George neighborhood tucked into a valley, where tranquil suburban streets stay quiet throughout the day. However, Hidden Valley is centered around Hidden Valley Park, a hub of activity: kids play at the splash pad, parents chat under shaded benches and cyclists ride on paths woven throughout the neighborhood. This suburban vibe is reflected in Hidden Valley’s convenience. “It's in the area close to the Desert Hills High School and their middle school,” says principal broker Rachel Henderson of Henderson Real Estate, who has over a decade of experience in the area. “There's a new shopping center out there close by. And you’re still somewhat close to downtown, but away,” says Henderson. About 5 miles south of downtown, the neighborhood stays out of the hustle and bustle, opting for a calm setting. In fact, it’s a low-crime neighborhood: the CAP Index crime score for the neighborhood is a 2 out of 10, compared to the national average of 4 out of 10.
