“This is a fast-moving housing market. Homes usually sell within a week or two,” says Jodi Boxer, a Realtor with Keller Williams who has lived in the area for many years. “Home buyers can find various housing prices and styles here. In Newfield, prospective buyers can find split-levels built during the 1960s. Many homes from the 1920s and 1930s in the older areas, range from classic architecture styles to contemporary houses.” Recent home sales in Turn of the River-Newfield averaged from $536,000 for a two-bedroom ranch to about $1.4 million for a 3-bedroom Colonial. Most homes sit on residential streets with private driveways and manicured front lawns. A new high school building is slated to open in 2028 to replace the current 1972 structure. Private school options include The Spire School in Stamford, serving grades eight through 12.
