Low median prices in this seller's market

With most of Sturtevant’s western side being used for industrial purposes, residents look southeast of the train tracks for housing. These neighborhoods are mainly made up of detached, single-family homes along gridded streets with slim sidewalks. There are also a handful of multifamily residential properties like duplexes and apartment complexes near Durand Avenue, closer to the tracks. The median single-family home price is around $280,000, lower than the national median of about $420,000. With the village’s current seller’s market, inventory can be low.
