Mediterranean houses and manicured lawns
Northeast of downtown Tampa, Heritage Isles is mostly composed of winding roads of single-family houses on manicured lawns landscaped with palm trees. Lined with sidewalks, the neighborhood is ideal for strolls but not for errands. As for architecture, the area has Mediterranean, contemporary and ranch-style houses painted in muted coastal colors. In the deliberately designed neighborhood, no house sticks out aesthetically. Sales prices range from $125,000 for a condo to $690,000 for a six-bedroom contemporary home.From golfing to the swamplands
“The area has a working golf course, so it’s good for avid golfers," says Realtor Shannon Adkins who works with Fine Properties and has seven years of experience in the area. Heritage Isles Golf and Country Club is renowned for its well-maintained course among wetlands and local wildlife. It offers additional amenities like BayScape Bistro for casual dining and a pool complete with a waterslide. The Lower Hillsborough Wildlife Management Area has boardwalk trails and rentals for canoeing or kayaking in the Hillsborough River. Among the cypress swamps, paddlers may spot an alligator. the park also has camping and fishing. Schools include Schools include Heritage Elementary School, Benito Middle School and Wharton High School. The elementary school has a B grade, the middle school earns a B-plus and the high schools both has an A-minus rating on Niche. Benito Middle School has received honors in essay contests, Spanish language competitions and literary efficiency competitions. We're close to the outlet malls and Wesley Chapel within 15 minutes. It’s conveniently located, so everyone really likes the location,” Adkins says. Heritage Isles is mostly residential, so the area doesn't offer many jobs or commercial opportunities. As for a nearby medical center, locals can go to AdventHealth Wesley Chapel. Heritage Isles residents can pick up fresh produce and more goods from the Publix grocery store in Cross Creek Commons or Branchton Farms. As for restaurants, family-owned Saffron Indian Cuisine is a hidden gem with authentic dishes located inside a gas station. The Grill At Morris Bridge offers American foods in an eatery with a wine cellar and a minimalistic interior.
