There are a pair of parks in the area for outdoor recreation. The larger of the two is Gadsden Park. Gadsden’s main feature is a pond stocked with fish for anglers. There is a walking path that encircles the pond and a hiking trail that goes through wooded areas. To create their own culinary masterpiece, residents may go to Interbay Meat Market, a specialty butcher shop with novelty cheeses and locally sourced vegetables to go with a quality selection of meats. Publix and Target have locations just north of the neighborhood on Highway 573. Those looking to spend an afternoon shopping can head five miles to Hyde Park Village. Hyde Park is an outdoor mall with boutiques, brand-name shops and a movie theater. “Interbay is close to Hyde Park and other hip areas, but the hip area may soon be Interbay,” says Campbell. “Every time I drive by, things that were vacant for years are now open businesses.”Hillsborough Area Regional Transportation bus stops nearby
Locals can get around Interbay and the greater Tampa area by taking the Hillsborough Area Regional Transportation buses. The HART has frequent stops along Highway 573. Route 92 provides access to Interstate 275 north of the neighborhood for those looking to travel by car. As for flights, the Tampa International Airport is a 9-mile drive north of the neighborhood.
