It’s probably 10 minutes to major store outlets and restaurants, and we’re right on the line with Pasco County, so we have easy access to all its amenities.” While many homebuyers are scouting out Florida, “buyers are heading to Tampa specifically because it’s more affordable than places like Miami,” Ruffolo says. “People are coming to K-Bar Ranch.”

Hugging the edge of a wilderness preserve, K-Bar Ranch is surrounded by an abundance of Florida greenery. Palm trees, lush lawns and blooming flowers are carefully cultivated on the shady streets of the neighborhood’s subdivisions. Homes in K-Bar Ranch are predominantly two-story stucco houses built in the 2000s, often paired with a two-car garage. “There are a lot of large, two-story, four- or five-bedroom homes in K-Bar Ranch. It’s pretty family-oriented,” says Ruffolo. Typically, smaller houses sell for around $300,000 to $400,000, while larger homes sell for between $500,000 and $1.19 million. “Prices have risen for sure, and it’s already hard to get anything in New Tampa in general that’s under $300,000,” Ruffolo says. “Inventory is still on the low side, and the demand for homes is still there.” Many amenities are right at home. Residents enjoy a clubhouse with a pool, a park with tennis and pickleball courts and even a small playground for the little ones, all within the neighborhood’s subdivisions.
