Private lanes and hundreds of acres of farmland in the Willamette Valley

Surrounded by agricultural fields in the south side of the Willamette Valley, Shedd is a small, unincorporated community where residents enjoy private streets and large properties. “You can drive through the community in less than a minute,” says Sarah Sawyer, a local real estate agent with LUXE Forbes Global Properties. “It’s a very desirable area because it's so close to Interstate 5. You can get to both Albany and Lebanon within a 25-minute drive, but it feels secluded. Homes aren’t listed for sale very often, and, when they are, they fly off the market.” Shedd began as a small railway station, with nearby historic sites still standing from its early days. Thompson’s Mills lies roughly a mile east of the community and has been for over 160 years. Guests can take a free tour of the site and see how the water-powered mill still powers its machinery.
