Homes with a view of the lake or near a golf course tend to be more expensive. Students are served by Little Elm Independent School District. Prestwick Elementary School has a GreatSchools score of 8 out of 10. The Tribute Golf Links is an homage to some of Scotland’s most revered holes, while Old American Golf Club is designed to look and feel like the sport did in the 1920s and 1930s. Other neighborhood amenities include pickleball courts, fishing spots, playgrounds and a dog park. “If you have an active lifestyle, this is a great neighborhood for you,” Brant says. Wynnwood Park has a hiking and biking trail through the area’s wetlands that end with a view of the lake. Just outside The Tribute is Eastvale Park, which has youth soccer fields. The neighborhood is close to Farm to Market Road 423, known locally as Main Street, and a few miles from Texas State Highway 121. It is about 20 miles from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and around 30 miles from the Dallas Downtown Historic District. Getting off the peninsula can be a challenge. “There’s only one way in and out,” Brant says. “During heavy traffic times, it can take longer, so you have to leave earlier. Several restaurants are within a few miles of the neighborhood. Barney’s Brunch House gives a modern take on classic breakfast and lunch items. Salute Italian Restaurant is an authentic, upscale eatery. Kuppanna serves food inspired by the Kongu Nadu region of India. A Walmart Supercenter is close to the community. To the south, Lewisville Towne Crossing has a Target and a Dollar Tree. It is less than 10 miles from Legacy West, a mall with boutiques as well as high-end stores like Gucci, Coach and Louis Vuitton.
