Eight public and private schools are located within DeVeaux, which is zoned for Toledo City School District and Washington Local School District. At nearly 60 acres, Bowman Park is the largest of the four neighborhood parks, offering lush greenery, scenic trails, and seven baseball diamonds. The park is also the starting point of the paved Chessie Circle Trail, an 11-mile north-to-south route through western Toledo. Pine Glen Park's nearly 16 acres include paved trails that weave through the park, often used by hikers, runners, and walkers. It also has a playground and a tennis court. The West Toledo YMCA on the community's east side features a pool, fitness center, outdoor field and childcare. Programs include arts and humanities, wellness, before and after school learning, and sports and recreation.
