It’s really affordable and there’s a shortage of real estate.”
In addition to housing prices that are well below the national average, Paramount offers a quiet, suburban vibe and proximity to work or play in Buffalo. “It’s close to Buffalo, but it’s still the suburbs,” Schiavitti says. “A lot of people who live here work in Buffalo. It’s just a 15-minute commute to downtown.”

Located less than 15 miles north of Buffalo by way of Interstate 190, those looking to move to Paramount will primarily find single-family homes built in the 1940s and 50s. They commonly rest on compact lots shadowed by the mature maple and elm trees that are common to the area.
