Mobbly Bay and Courtney Campbell Causeway connect Town N’ Country locals to St. Pete and Clearwater beaches.

Deerfield is not a walkable neighborhood; however, it sits directly off Florida State Highway 589 (FL-589) and near several bus stops operated by Hillsborough Area Regional Transit. Five miles east, AdventHealth Carrollwood Hospital provides immediate health care. Residents can reach Downtown Tampa and Tampa International Airport within 11 miles.

Outdoor adventures at Upper Tampa Bay Park

Six miles west is Upper Tampa Bay Park, where visitors can launch kayaks and canoes or take on the rope course and zip line at Empower Adventures Tampa Bay. Bicyclists and pedestrians can trek the Courtney Campbell Causeway Trail over Mobbly Bay, which connects Town N’ Country to the beaches in Clearwater and St. Pete. The trail, which is 9.5 miles in total, also connects to Pinellas and Duke Energy trails.

Twelve Oaks Plaza grocers and Westshore retailers
Deerfield is sandwiched by Target and Twelve Oaks Plaza, which houses Publix and Walmart. A few dining options sit along West Waters Avenue, or FL-589, such as Thinh An Kitchen & Tofu. The popular Vietnamese restaurant boasts a large menu featuring pho, baked goods and boba teas. Off Anderson Road is an AMC Veterans movie theater adjacent to Tampa Joe’s Restaurant and Sports Bar, a chain known for burgers and crispy wings.
Two large retail hubs sit next to Tampa International Airport. Westshore Plaza, Tampa’s first indoor shopping mall, offers over 100 department and specialty stores, a large movie theater and a collection of restaurants. International Plaza and Bay Street is a multi floor mall with over 200 stores, including Nordstrom and Dillard’s.
