The Turner Park neighborhood is directly east of Tulsa University.
Prime location in Midtown Tulsa
Not enough can be said about Turner Park’s ideal location. The namesake of one of its two parks, this Midtown Tulsa neighborhood has two major thoroughfares streaking through it, alongside historic Route 66 defining its southern boundary. What’s more, the University of Tulsa (TU) borders it to the west, offering a buzzing entertainment and dining district similar to that of the city center, which is just 5 miles away from the neighborhood.
Enticing prices and move-in ready homes
Turner Park boasts lower home prices compared to Midtown’s average of $300,000 and up. Typically staying around the mid to upper $200,000 range, these properties – mostly ranch-style homes and bungalows built anywhere from the 1940s to as recently as 2015 – tend to sport long driveways winding into one- or two-car garages. Homes also feature covered front and back porches, fenced backyards leaning toward the larger side and narrow lots making for smaller front yards and less upkeep. While the newer houses are almost always move-in ready, the established ones may need updates.
Many homes in Turner Park have carports attached to their garage.

Turner and Braden parks provide outdoor fun
To get active outdoors and engage in recreational activities, the neighborhood’s namesake park spans nearly 9 acres, and is known for being quiet, but it still offers outlets for various activities. Two shelters are ideal for peaceful picnics, a paved trail for avid walkers and runners and a play area where kids can let loose and unwind. A large, fenced-off grassy patch is also available for individual athletic activities, from playing catch to a pick-up ultimate frisbee game. Also within the neighborhood is Braden Park, which is closer to the eastern end of the neighborhood. The park offers the same amenities as its western neighbor, except its playset centers around a climbing structure and its paved trail winds around a lake that’s known to attract ducks.
