There are seldom times that you sit in traffic,” Thompson says. “Main Street and Gloster are two of our main streets. If a train is coming through there, you might wait in traffic, but that’s the only time.” U.S. Route 45 is just east for trips out of town and stretches from Mobile, Alabama, to Michigan’s Lake Superior. The Tupelo Regional Airport is 4 miles northwest.
