A Tuscaloosa neighborhood worth the drive
With golf course views, large lot sizes and a location near major Tuscaloosa employers, Woodland Forrest offers plenty of pluses. “It’s right off the interstate and pretty centrally located from the Mercedes plant,” says Jason Patton, a Realtor with the Patton Group of Keller Williams. Development started in the 1970s, and the area’s hilly topography makes it unique for the region. “Most of Tuscaloosa County is pretty flat, so Woodland Forrest is one of the only neighborhoods in the county that really lends itself to having basement homes,” Patton says. “Some people like that and find it an attractive feature of the neighborhood.”
