A highly desirable school district

Local students are served by Latrobe, Mountain View and Baggaley elementary schools. “Locals love the public schools here,” Yates says. “Young professionals will move to the township to be within a short drive of Greensburg jobs while still living in the school district’s boundaries.” All the area’s public schools earn A-minus grades from Niche, including Greater Latrobe Junior High School, which has over 20 unique elective offerings, including flight and space, multimedia broadcasting and music makers workshop. Greater Latrobe Senior High School has a wide array of extracurriculars, from jazz ensemble and origami club to stage crew and ski club.
