Locals can get around without a car with MTD bus stops along major roads, including Broadway Avenue, Kerr Avenue and County Road 1700. Carle Foundation Hospital is immediately west of the neighborhood on University Avenue and is a major employer in the area. For travel beyond the Urbana-Champaign area, the University of Illinois Willard Airport is about 8 miles south of the neighborhood.
