Hiddenbrooke
Suburban Neighborhood in Vallejo, California
Solano County 94591
Hiddenbrooke Property Owners Association
Hiddenbrooke’s quiet, winding roads end in cul-de-sacs. Ivy grows on stucco exteriors; short stone walls stretch across front lawns and floral gardens bloom in front of early 2000s Mediterranean-style homes. The neighborhood also has custom homes; some are golf course properties with undisturbed fairway views. Benches are scattered throughout the community, and people can relax and enjoy sweeping vistas of hills and waterways. Homes in the low $600,000s come with three bedrooms and community pool access, while some just over $1 million have up to five bedrooms and a private pool. Undeveloped lots up to an acre range from $180,000 to $250,000.“All property owners are required to be members of the HPOA, but membership to the golf club is separate,” Castro says. The HPOA, which stands for Hiddenbrooke Property Owners Association, oversees landscaping and architectural plans and works with the city of Vallejo on infrastructure projects. Annual HPOA fees were $103.50 for the 2024-2025 year. Of Hiddenbrooke’s nine individual neighborhoods, four of them have their own HOAs: Fairway Villas, Reflections, Summit and Village. All residents use Hiddenbrooke’s clubhouse, which hosts events throughout the year during various holidays. . “It’s a quiet and peaceful community where everybody knows each other, and you’re super close to amenities in American Canyon and Vallejo proper,” says Cara Cavanaugh, a Realtor with Compass who specializes in the Bay area.
World-class golfing and outdoor amenities
Residents have easy access to the Hiddenbrooke Golf Club, home to the heralded Arnold Palmer-designed golf course. The 18-hole course has a four-and-a-half star rating from Golf Digest and is open to the public. Members can opt for the Twilight Pass for $55 per month – which lets them access the course later in the day -- or the Platinum Pass for $200. Other options around for a day outdoors include playing basketball or taking kids to the playground at Hiddenbrooke Park. Cyclists can bike the paved Ridge Trail, which parallels Hiddenbrooke Parkway. Hikers can explore several trailheads, like Hiddenbrooke Trail, for views of the surrounding rolling hills.Vallejo city schools
Children attending public schools will likely start at the Solano Widenmann Leadership Academy, a K-8 school part of the Vallejo City Unified School District with a C-minus overall Niche grade. Jesse Bethel High School, rated B-minus, offers a Law Academy for kids interested in the legal field.Getting around the Bay area
Drivers enter and exit the neighborhood via Hiddenbrooke Parkway, which connects directly to Interstate 80. I-80 leads 7 miles south to the nearest hospital, Sutter Solano Medical Center, and 41 miles south to San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport. Paved paths and sidewalks within the neighborhood make it pedestrian and bike-friendly.Dining at Hiddenbrooke Plaza
Though residents are close to the many shops and restaurants in Vallejo, Hiddenbrooke Plaza has a few options within biking distance of area homes. J&O’s Market and Deli offers sub sandwiches and prepared foods, while Michael Warring serves upscale New American fare. Shoppers can drive about 5 miles south to Safeway for groceries or head to Gateway Plaza for chain options like The Home Depot and Target.
