New construction and 21st century homes

In Southwest San Antonio, new development provides for modern prairie-style and ranch-style homes with plenty of yard space. Newer communities have homes on smaller lots with brick exteriors and built-in garages. The Luckey Ranch subdivision offers modern homes built in the 2010s. Single-family homes typically range from $200,000 to $650,000. Modern prairie-style homes can cost between $200,000 and $400,000. The perfect commute

With significant highways bordering the area, Southwest San Antonio is a convenient access point outside the city. Highway 90 and Interstate 35 provide direct routes to Downtown. Route 1604 encircles San Antonio, leading to other communities surrounding the city. The VIA Metropolitan Transit bus makes trips throughout the city until 1 a.m. While there are none here, some bus stops are to the north, centered around Kriewald Road. The San Antonio International Airport (SAT) is about 23 miles northeast on Airport Boulevard.

Hendrick Arnold Nature Park has 74 acres of hiking and horse-riding trails through the Medina River woodlands. Salas Family Park is another area with swimming holes along the river.
