Golf course adjacent townhouses and well-maintained single-family homes
Marchbanks Drive surrounds the Diablo Hills Golf Course, where buyers can primarily find multi-family units. "If you're looking for a little bit more space and not a lot of yard, it's an entry-level neighborhood," says Lanham. "If you're looking for three-bedroom, two-bath townhouses that are affordable in Walnut Creek, that's where you need to be looking." Many of the townhouses back up to the golf course, and Lanham says homeowners need to be on the lookout for rogue golf balls. Townhouses typically cost between $775,000 and $1,075,000. The neighborhood also has condos, which usually have one or two bedrooms. These often cost between $340,000 and $550,000. Detached single-family homes aren't as common, but there are some on Homestead Avenue and other nearby streets. These are usually bungalows or Craftsman houses on small lots with lots of trees and landscaping. Mediterranean homes are also common, with stucco siding and tile roofs. Single-family houses typically cost between $1.25 million and $1.7 million.Teeing off at Diablo Hills Golf Course and 102 acres of recreation at Heather Farm Park
