Warrior Run offers charming older homes with easy access to Interstate 81. Part of Luzerne County, the area’s early agricultural industry was uprooted by coal mines and factories in the 1800s and 1900s. Most mines were closed by the 2000s, leading to a slow population decline of over 100,000 people in the county from 1940 to 1990. Recently, warehouses and more modern employment opportunities have begun popping up in the area, including an industrial area just north of the neighborhood with companies like Adidas, Gatorade and Chewy.
