Rural charm, community spirit and suburban access
Amid the rural backdrop of Cambria County, Washington Township offers its residents a laidback lifestyle – one that provides access, community and serenity in equal parts. Known for rolling hills and picturesque farms, many of which are still active, the township exudes old-world charm. “There’s not a whole lot out here, but that’s the way people like it,” says Lisa Hess, a Realtor with Lang Real Estate. “It’s suburban in some ways, but it has a rural feel to it – it’s just very peaceful.” With a slower pace of life, the township offers an opportunity to escape city noise without completely giving up urban access.
