Culver’s is a popular fast food chain in the neighborhood serving burgers, fries and concrete mixers, frozen desserts made with custards. People can sit down at O'Crab Cajun Seafood and Bar for seafood boils or shrimp alfredo 5 miles away in the Jordan Landing Shopping Center. Jordan Landing has over 100 stores, plus the Altitude Trampoline Park and the Rush Funplex, an indoor amusement center. Smith’s is the local grocery store on 7800 South, and people can get other essentials at the Big Lots across the street. The Utah Natural Meat and Milk is a grass-fed farm 3 miles north that sells food including bread, honey and eggs.Wildfire season in the Salt Lake Valley
The Salt Lake Valley experiences wildfire season from July to November. Residents must notify their local fire department if they plan on hosting campfires or bonfires, according to the Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands.
