People can park their cars in garages, driveways or on the street; driveways are big enough for basketball hoops. Most backyards are separated by white picket fences. There are also townhomes with stone detailing and small driveways ranging between $400,000 and $500,000.

Maple Hills Park is a pocket park in the neighborhood’s northeast corner, with basketball courts and a bike ramp. Sycamores Open Space Park has a playground, a small pavilion and hiking trails; the trails can take people to nearby mountaintops like Curry Peak and Freeman Peak. Locals visit the hills at Oaks Park and Oaks East Park for sledding and skiing in the winter.
