Spacious contemporary homes on large lots

Homes in the area are in the New Historicism, contemporary Craftsman and split-level styles. Most homes are interlaced with tall, bigleaf maple and Ponderosa pine trees. The area has few sidewalks, but most homes are spacious, with large backyards, long driveways, and wide roadways. Homes in the area range in price from $500,000 to $1 million. “Homes in the $500,000 range are fixers,” says Macom. “$600,000 are smaller, but buyers don’t need to do as much.” Large homes in the area range from $700,000 to $1 million.

Internship Pathways Program at West Linn

Sunset is served by the West Linn-Wilsonville School District, receiving an A on Niche. Children attend Sunset Primary School, receiving a B-plus rating. Students continue to Rosemont Ridge Middle School, receiving an A-minus. West Linn High School, receiving an A, is listed as one of Oregon's best public high schools. West Linn High School also has an Internship Pathways Program, a learning program that allows students to gain hands-on work experience in a specific field.

Camassia Natural Area and Willamette Falls

Recently renovated Sunset Park has a newly built wooden playground surrounded by tall pine trees. The playground and park area include a nature-based play area where children can send water down wooden chutes. Nearby, Wilderness Park stretches for 51.4 acres. The park has many dirt path hiking trails with access points throughout the neighborhood. Next door is the Camassia Natural Area, a 26-acre nature preserve with wildflowers and white oaks owned and operated by The Nature Conservancy and volunteers. Cascade Summit Town Square

Sunset is halfway between the Cascade Summit Town Square and the West Linn Central Village. Residents can buy groceries at the Cascade Summit Safeway or the Market of Choice in West Linn.
