A Community hidden in Pennsylvania’s mountains
First discovered by settlers in 1750, West Wyoming is a strong community with a rural feel. Resting in the mountains of Eastern Pennsylvania, this borough offers serene parks, both large and small, as well as outdoor activities. These natural destinations are only a short drive from houses sporting plenty of yard space, schools supporting the county, grocery stores and fresh local pizza. This neighborhood is also full of residents who have lived there their whole lives and love it, which can be very easily seen at the weekly gatherings at local businesses and parks.
A Pennsylvania pizza lover’s paradise
Nothing brings a community together like food, and West Wyoming does not disappoint. In the center of the neighborhood lies Sicilian Bella Festa, a local outdoor pizza eatery featured on PBS due to their sizzling pan pizzas. “I always get the red sweet garlic pizza, probably a little too much,” says Eddie Heck, a lifelong resident of the area and Realtor with Classic Properties. Residents also love to head down to Marianacci's Restaurant, which has served Italian favorites for over 50 years. Locals can restock at the Price Chopper less than 2 miles away or the giant Walmart about 7 miles away.

Luzerne County health and safety
