A countryside community with farms and new construction homes
White Knoll is a growing community in the heart of Lexington County, roughly 16 miles from downtown Columbia. This suburb of about 8,000, surrounded by pine forests and farmland, is home to subdivisions and large, rural, multi-acre properties. Local Donna Arvay, an experienced Realtor with Keller Williams Realty, says that while the community’s new construction is turning heads, the area’s rural charm holds strong. “You can go pick blueberries, strawberries, peaches – Georgia just thinks they’re the peach state, but just FYI, there are more peaches from South Carolina.” Healthcare is the leading industry in Lexington County. Lexington Medical Center – the closest hospital – is a major employer, roughly 15 miles away in West Columbia.
Residents can enjoy a blend of classic architecture and contemporary design.
